The Citizen Tsuyosa Shore "Time Slip" is powered by the Caliber 8210 automatic movement.
Citizen has priced the limited Tsuyosa Shore "Time Slip" at $525 in the US, above the $462.50 projected at launch. The 12,000-piece NJ0238-57E sells for £349 in the UK including VAT. Caliber 8210, 40 mm, 100 m WR.

Citizen's Tsuyosa Shore "Time Slip" had a projected price of $462.50 when it was first announced in July. The watch is now live on Citizen's US store at $525.

That is a $62.50 gap, or roughly 13.5%. Coverage in the weeks following up to this reveal has been somewhat inconsistent as well. Several outlets listed a $495 price tag — that figure doesn't match either the original projection or the final listing.

Regional pricing is a little different depending on where you look. The UK price is £349 and Europe pays €359, around $471 and $415 respectively at current rates. Both include VAT, while the US figure excludes sales tax. If you take the tax out, the underlying UK price gets closer to $393. Compared to this, American buyers are paying a significant premium on a watch which is limited to 12,000 pieces worldwide.

The Time Slip name first came from fans (and not Citizen itself). A 37 mm limited Tsuyosa with a smoked gradient dial sold out in July 2025 on the basis of that dial alone, and this is the same idea transplanted onto the Shore case Citizen introduced in February.

What the Shore gets is a bezel. The 40 mm steel case runs 12.5 mm thick with a 120-click unidirectional bezel and a gold-tone 60-minute scale. The crown sits at four o'clock. The dial is a black gradient over a grained texture — it fades from charcoal at the centre with rose gold-tone gilt markers and hands. Water resistance is 100 metres.

Caliber 8210 handles the rest: automatic with manual winding and hacking seconds, 21 jewels, 21,600 vph, and about 42 hours in reserve. Accuracy is rated at -20 to +40 seconds per day.

Sapphire covers the front with a date magnifier; a display caseback shows the movement. US orders are shipping now.
