Chilkey, a peripherals company known for its premium, yet affordable, wired and wireless mechanical keyboards, has announced two buy-one-get-one-free Black Friday deals. When you buy one of Chilkey's Hall effect gaming keyboards or a legendary ND75, you will get a free 65% mechanical keyboard, making it a perfect work and gaming combo.

With the ND75 and ND75LP full-height and low-profile wireless mechanical keyboards, Chilkey earned a reputation for highly rated build quality, a satisfying typing feel and sound, and an affordable price. Recently, the ND75 was reworked as the $189 Slice75 Hall effect gaming keyboard, with a more compact Slice68 HE launching alongside it.

For Black Friday, buyers of the Chilkey Slice68 HE, Slice75 HE, and ND75/ND75LP will receive a free wireless mechanical keyboard, which is a bonus of up to $99. From November 14–17, buyers will get a free Paw 65, while Chilkey will give away a free Foxy 65 for every purchase of a Slice 65 or 75 HE or ND75 series keyboard between November 18 and 19. These deals start and end at midnight in the UTC+8 time zone.

Conceivably, you could take advantage of this deal to get two form factors — 65% and 75% — a Hall effect and mechanical keyboard, or a mix of different profiles. The cheapest bundle comes in at $105.50 and gives you the low-profile ND75 LP and one of the 65% keyboards. When you add any of the eligible keyboards to your cart on the Chilkey online store, you will get a prompt to add the Foxy 65 or Paw 65 to your cart automatically.

Chilkey Slice68 HE and Slice75 HE details

The Chilkey Slice75 HE and Slice68 HE share many of the same characteristics and features, aside from the layout — as the names suggest, the Slice75 HE is a 75% keyboard, while the Slice68 HE deletes the F row for a 65% layout. Both of Chilkey's Slice series Hall effect gaming keyboards come in at a fairly premium price, with the Slice68 HE coming in at $199, while the Slice75 HE can be had for $189.

The Slice68 HE is only available with the custom Wuque Studio Flux magnetic switch, while the Slice75 HE can be had with a variety of switches, including the Gateron Magnetic Jade Pro switches (curr. $56 for 70 switches on Amazon) that we enjoyed in our review of the Iqunix EZ63

The two gaming keyboards are also differentiated by looks. The Slice75 HE comes in Black, Gray, White, and Fog Pink, with each version equipped with colour-matched frosted transparent (white and pink) or double-shot PBT (black and gray) keycaps. The Slice68 HE, on the other hand, is available in Red and Purple colour ways, both of which feature accents and keycaps inspired by the legendary Neo Genesis Evangelion anime series. Both keyboards have a look that would more easily fit into a gaming setup than an office space, but it's safe to say the Slice75 HE is a lot more subdued.

Both the 75% Slice75 HE and the 65% Slice68 HE feature aluminium chassis and plates, cork damping materials between the plate and PCB, and silicone bear gasket mounts for a softer typing feel and improved sound profile.

Chilkey ND75 and ND75LP wireless mechanical keyboard details

The main attraction of the Chilkey ND75 series is value: for $109.90, you can get a high-quality wireless mechanical keyboard with a full aluminium case and a gasket mount. What's more, the ND75 is easily customisable, thanks to a ball-catch quick-release system that allows for toolless disassembly.

The ND75LP, on the other hand, is a low-profile version of the ND75, essentially swapping out the switches, keycaps, and certain parts of the case and PCB/plate assembly to make use of Gateron's new Low Profile 3.0 switches (curr. $15.99/30 switches on Amazon) — the same ones found in the NuPhy Node75 and Kick75.

Given that the ND75 and ND75LP share the same PCB, they both offer the same 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, up to 1 kHz polling rate, highly moddable design, and LCD screen near the arrow cluster. The biggest difference between the LP and the regular ND75 is that the ND75 uses Cherry profile double-shot PBT keycaps, while the ND75LP uses LSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps. The wireless low-profile keyboard also has an FR4 plate instead of the full-height version's PC plate — this will result in a slightly clackier sound profile.

Where the ND75LP has a 9.3 mm front height, the regular ND75 measures in at 19.2, making the low-profile keyboard significantly more ergonomic to use. Both keyboards are available with linear switches, but the LP switches have a slightly shorter total travel distance — 3.0 mm compared to the full-height version's 3.5 mm. Both keyboards have sizeable 3,600 mAh battery packs, and the ND75 comes in Milk Tea, Jet Black, Pure White, Mountain Blue, and Elegant Purple colourways, while the ND75 LP is available in Milk Tea, Silver, Pure White, Jet Black, Baby Blue, and Lavender colourways.

Chilkey Paw 65 and Foxy 65 mechanical keyboard details

The Chilkey Paw 65 and Foxy 65 are different versions of essentially the same wireless mechanical keyboard, except for the colourways and that the Paw 65 retails for $99, while the Foxy 65 costs $95. Both are 65%, wireless, gasket-mounted, mechanical keyboards with Cherry profile double-shot PBT keycaps and a focus on aesthetics.

The Foxy 65 and Paw 65 have unique two-tone aluminium cases and detachable animal ear-shaped RGB diffusers that attach to the back of the case. Both also feature programmable knobs in the top right corner. While the Foxy 65 has a more traditional two-tone keycap set, the Paw 65 comes with a whimsical multicolour keycap set. Both have FR4 plates and are available with linear Pink Lotus or tactile Sprout Green switches as well as tri-mode — 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired — connectivity powered by 4,500 mAh battery packs.
