Cherry Xtrfy has updated its lineup of gaming headsets with the H3 Wireless and it brings several improvements over the last generation H2. Following the same design language, the H3 Wireless, as the name suggest, brings wireless connectivity with multiple gaming platforms. It is a closed back, over ear headset with an aluminum frame and memory foam earcups.
Cherry Xtrfy H3 Wireless specifications
The H3 Wireless boasts 53mm dynamic drivers, the same as the H2. It comes with 20Hz to 20,000Hz frequency response and 16 Ohm impedance. The H3 does get wireless multi-platform connectivity via a USB dongle and Bluetooth 5.1. The USB dongle allows for low latency gaming on PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, while the Bluetooth connection makes it compatible with mobile devices. There are tailored EQ modes as well for the optimal experience when gaming, streaming, or listening to music.
The headset has an aluminum frame and the earcups have memory foam with 'protein leather' and mesh cloth, promising comfort over long gaming sessions. The earcups, however, don’t rotate to sit flat on the shoulders when not in use. It weighs 325 grams but that’s excluding the detachable, omnidirectional mic. There are several controls on the headset which include an On/off button, dongle/Bluetooth switcher, volume control, mic mute, and EQ mode.
The Cherry Xtrfy H3 Wireless can last up to 100 hours at 50% volume thanks to the 2,000mAh battery. There is a 2m USB-C to USB-A cable included for charging the headset when the battery is running low.
