Rogbid has once again launched a new smartwatch onto the market. Named Rogbid Model A, it has a round and classic design with a crown on the right-hand side, and can be purchased directly from the manufacturer.
In its own store, the company lists an RRP of just under $160 - although this should always be viewed with a certain degree of skepticism, as RRP prices are often set high in order to entice customers with a supposed discount. This may well also be the case with the new Rogbid Model A, on offer for $79.99, which is supposedly half the price. It comes in either black with a silicone strap of the same color, or silver with a brown leather strap. It has not yet arrived alongside other Rogbid products on Amazon.

In terms of health tracking, Rogbid promises that, in addition to the usual 24/7 monitoring of heart rate and blood oxygen levels (SpO2), the Model A will also measure blood pressure. How accurate the results will be, however, is questionable. There is also the usual activity tracking and various sports modes.
An unusual aspect is that the Rogbid Model A utilizes Android as its operating system. This enables access to Google Play and a range of Google apps, including Google Maps for navigation via GPS. Another rarity is the HD camera integrated at the bottom of the 1.69-inch AMOLED display for video calls and the like.
Other features of the Rogbid Model A include the 800 mAh battery, 3 + 32 GB storage, WiFi, 4G connectivity and Bluetooth as well as a range of other features such as music playback, facial unlocking and a video player. All this is housed in an IP67-certified zinc alloy chassis.
