Deal | Certified refurbished Corsair Voyager gaming laptop with AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and Radeon RX 6800M dGPU drops to $899.00

Even though this model was launched two years ago, the latest discounts offered for the certified refurbished products sold by New-Techies on Ebay make it an enticing proposition for budget-oriented users. Launch MSRP was well over $2,000 particularly for this configuration, so it clearly is a premium-grade model. Granted, it comes with a Zen 3 Ryzen 9 6900HS processor that does not integrate an NPU and supports slower DDR5-4800 RAM, but other than that, the specs make for a good deal at just $899 (2-year all-state warranty provided).

The Corsair Voyager a1600 is among the few all-AMD models released with a Radeon RX 6800M. Our tests show that it trades blows with the RTX 3080 and even the RTX 3080 Ti mobile GPUs, especially after updating to the latest Adrenalin drivers, and combined with FSR 3.1, it is not too far from Nvidia’s aforementioned models running with DLSS 3.5. The only downside for this dGPU is the ray tracing performance, which still remains considerably inferior to the RTX 3000-series, so Black Myth: Wukong is not going to be too smooth at high details with RT enabled.

On the plus side, this configuration packs 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM, a 2 TB PCie 4.0 NVMe SSD, as well as a decent 16-inch IPS display with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 240 Hz adaptive refresh rate, 3 ms response time, 400 nit maximum brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut. The hinge design might look flimsy, but it is actually very sturdy.

Port selection is stacked with 2x USB4 connectors, 1x 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, audio jack and SDXC 7.0 card reader. Internet connectivity is offered through a Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.2 card. Other noteworthy features include a 1080p webcam, fingerprint reader, full-size RGB keyboard with Cherry Ultra-Low Profile switches, vapor chamber cooling and a special bar with programmable macros plus a small center display that can be customized with widgets and animations. 

Corsair also offers full software versions for the iCUE, Elgato Camera Hub and Elgato Stream Deck suites. With the integrated 99 Wh battery, this model weighs 5.29 lbs (2.4 kg) and has a rather slim 0.78-inch (1.98 cm) profile.
