Caviar’s new zodiac iPhone Duo is part smartphone, part outer space

Caviar has launched a Zodiac collection for Apple's foldable iPhone Duo, weeks after it released camera-free Black Edition versions of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. Instead of a fixed run of numbered phones, the new line is built around an online configurator that lets buyers design their own device.
Customers start by choosing one of the 12 signs, which loads a default design centered on a zodiac wheel. They can then change the materials of the frame, back plate, zodiac circle, and central medallion. Options include silver, yellow and rose gold, natural or black titanium, crocodile, python and calfskin leather, forged carbon, gemstones, Swarovski crystals, jewellery enamel and meteorite inlays. Caviar says each sign supports more than a million combinations, or about 15 million across the collection.
The default Capricorn, with a black titanium frame and forged carbon back plate, is estimated at $14,800. The default Aquarius uses silver and navy crocodile leather and comes to an estimated $18,615. Both are based on the 256GB iPhone Duo, which Apple sells from $1,999. Buyers save their design as a code and send it to a Caviar sales manager, who confirms the final price and starts the order.
Every custom iPhone Duo goes through extra testing of the hinge and display before dispatch and carries a 12-month warranty. The checks follow reports of inner screens cracking along the crease soon after the phone went on sale on 23 October. Each order also includes a Caviar clasp bearing the chosen constellation, plated in 999 gold.
The Black Edition, released at the end of September, is limited to 19 numbered units per model and priced from $10,560 to $13,990. Its Supersonic iPhone 18 Pro and Ultimate iPhone Duo replace the rear camera bump with a flat titanium panel and have their front cameras disabled, a design Caviar aimed at secure corporate and government settings.
