Casio's new affordable Cartier Tank alternative now available to buy in the US
Casio's smallest new release of the summer is also its least typical. The LTPB150D-7B is now listed on Casio's US store at $89.95, dated August 2026, with the buy button live — the first of the LTP-B150 references to reach American retail after the series debuted in Japan at the start of the month.
At 31 × 22 × 7.5 mm, this is a pretty compact watch. Casio's own product photography makes the point by laying it beside a pencil. The case and bezel are stainless-steel, matched to a three-link bracelet with a triple-fold clasp, and the whole thing weighs 58 grams. Bracelet sizing runs from 125 to 185 mm.
Coming to the dial, Roman numerals are laid against a silver-white face, the crown is set into a stepped shoulder, and the rectangular case tapers in a way that will be immediately familiar to anyone who has looked at a Cartier Tank. Casio describes it as a bold square take on the classic metal analog watch, and that's it.
Underneath, you get a simple analog quartz. Three hands, no date, no alarm, no backlight. Accuracy is rated at ±20 seconds per month, and the SR626SW cell is quoted at roughly three years. The crystal is mineral glass. Water resistance is listed simply as water-resistant, without a bar or meter rating. This means it should be okay in the splash-and-handwashing category, but not anything involving swimming — and definitely not diving.
The LTP-B150 exists because rectangular dress watches have become expensive, and a steel one with Roman numerals under $90 fills that gap up nicely. Casio has not confirmed whether the two leather-strapped references sold in Japan will follow it to the US.
