Deal | 4 Casio G-Shock watches with metal bezels now discounted on official website

Casio's official US store is running a G-Shock sale with quite a narrow scope. Every square in the Fine Metallic Series is now 20% off, and the GM-2110D-4A has also been cut alongside them. This could only mean that the Japanese watch giant is running a line clearance sale, not a broad promotion.

The silver GM5600YM-8 and GM5600YM-8A8 have both dropped to $192 from $240. The gold GM-5600YMG-9 is also down to $224 from $280. All three arrived in February 2025 and share the same build: an ion-plated stainless-steel bezel over a resin case with Casio's Tough Silicone band, which is really a silicone core wrapped in a urethane sheet and finished with vapour deposition — silver on the cheaper two, gold on the YMG-9 — to look like polished metal. The 8A8 matches the color of its dial and the bezel; the 8 goes for a contrasting darker face. Each measures 49.6 x 43.2 x 12.9 mm, is rated to 200 m, and draws about five years from a CR2016 cell. Timekeeping-wise, you get a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five alarms and flash alert.

The GM-2110D-4A, on the other hand, is discounted to $264 from $330. It is arguably the better deal out of the 4. It was also the first in the metal-bezel 2100 family to get a stainless-steel bracelet which can be fastened with a one-touch three-fold clasp. It comes equipped with a forged and polished octagonal bezel. The bezel covers a glass-fibre-reinforced resin case of 49.3 x 44.4 x 11.8 mm — that's the slimmest of any G-Shock combination build. The orange dial is metal, and it's plated and colour-coated over an inset ring for the sake of depth. It weighs 146 g, resists water to 200 m, and adds world time, hand shift and a double LED light. Battery life is quoted at three years on two SR726W cells.

When it first launched in September 2024, Casio had the GM2110D range sitting at $300. Still, the current deal puts it below release pricing.
