Capcom has announced its next entry in the long running fighting game franchise, Street Fighter 6. The newest game comes 6 years after Street Fighter V, which was released on PS4 and PC and received a 74 rating on Metacritic for the PC version. It also appears that Street Fighter 6 is dropping the traditional roman numerals in its title.

The gaming company announced Street Fighter 6 via countdown after the end of the Capcom Pro Tour tournament. A teaser was released showcasing Ryu's new design and his opponent, Luke. Capcom indicated that more news for the game will release during the summer of 2022.

Furthermore, Capcom revealed the Capcom Fighting Collection, which features 10 classic Capcom fighting games with online multiplayer support as well as bonus features such as art and music. Fans of the Darkstalkers games can play the entire series in this collection. The Capcom Fighting Collection is expected to be launched this year on June 24 for PC and consoles.
