Bluetti hoped to cover production costs for its latest portable generator via crowdfunding, and now claims to have succeeded with an estimated total of $5.4 million from over 2,500 "real backers" by the campaign's end earlier in 2025.
The Apex 300 has now been released via Amazon or direct from Bluetti at a price of $1,599 (or $400 more than on Indiegogo). Its new retail version packs the same 2,764.8Wh LFP batteries, which can charge the user's devices as the same output of up to 3,840 watts (W) via its various AC outlets.
The 300 has 4 of those on its front, which can power appliances that use up to 120-volt (V) outputs. There are more outlets to the side, though, which can handle up-to-240V devices instead.
Accordingly, the Apex 300 is backed to keep "99%" of all average domestic appliances going in the event of a blackout. It is also rated to take over from the grid instantaneously with a new True 0ms UPS (or "true zero-millisecond uninterruptible power supply") setting.
The 300 supports multiple options when it comes to re-charging, 1 of which is solar power.
To that end, the portable generator also has "Emergency Backup" bundles that range in price from $1,998 to add a single 350W panel to $2,599 for the Apex 300 to come with 4 200W panels - although Bluetti notes that the panels and their cables will have to be shipped separately at the time of writing.
