Blackview Rock 2 Pro rugged phone sports 15,000mAh battery and 400-lumen flashlight

Blackview is now offering the Rock 2 Pro, which is a new and still relatively affordable smartphone that will be available on Banggood as well as directly from the manufacturer. Pricing starts at around $250. This is a rugged handset with a large battery and some durability features, but as a result it is not particularly compact or lightweight. More specifically, it measures around 7.4 x 3.4 x 1.0 inches and weighs almost 20 oz. The battery has a capacity of 15,000mAh and can be charged at up to 33 watts, which is reasonably quick but not exceptionally fast by today’s standards. Blackview further advertises IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certifications, which is typical for rugged phones. On the back there is a large LED light panel with an output of up to 400 lumens.
Although the Rock 2 Pro is not powered by a flagship processor, the Unisoc T8100 supports 5G connectivity and dual SIM. The latter involves a hybrid slot, which can also be used to expand the internal 256GB storage. The phone ships with DokeOS 5.0, which is based on Android 16. The remaining spec sheet reveals 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, a 6.67-inch display with a rather low resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera has a 13MP sensor while the main camera offers 16MP. That being said, the Blackview Rock 2 Pro doesn’t have a zoom or night vision camera, both of which are often found in other rugged smartphones.
