Baseus has unveiled the Nomos NU1 Air, a compact 12-in-1 vertical docking station offering high-speed data transfer, dual 4K display support, and 100W power delivery.

Baseus has launched the Nomos NU1 Air, a new 12-in-1 docking station designed to improve desktop organization while offering comprehensive connectivity options.

The device features a minimalist, vertical design with a height of 115.5mm, intended to occupy minimal desk space while keeping all ports accessible. It is priced at $79.99 and is available on the Baseus site.

The docking station provides a total of twelve ports to support a wide range of devices. The front panel includes an SD card slot, a TF card slot, one USB-A 3.0 port rated for 5Gbps, and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with 10Gbps transfer speeds.

The rear of the unit contains another USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two HDMI ports, a USB-C female port for power delivery, two USB-A 2.0 ports, and a gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port. The high-speed USB-C ports support 10Gbps data transfer, which Baseus claims allows a 1GB file to be moved in seconds.

A key feature of the Nomos NU1 Air is its support for a dual 4K UHD display configuration, utilizing the dual HDMI ports and USB-C video passthrough. This setup is designed for users with multitasking-heavy workflows, such as content creation or trading, who can benefit from multiple external displays.

For Windows systems, this allows for a true extended desktop across two additional monitors. On macOS, however, the two external displays will be mirrored due to operating system limitations.

The device also integrates practical power and control features. It supports 100W USB-C power delivery for fast laptop charging.

A physical control button on top of the unit adds functionality; a short press activates the computer's screen lock, and a two-second long press engages a power-saving mode.

This mode adds a layer of security and energy efficiency for users who frequently leave their desks. For reliable performance, the docking station includes six layers of protection against overheating, overcurrent, and voltage instability.
