BLU Vivo One and Vivo X unlocked Android handsets coming soon
BLU Products seems to be fine nowadays, although it definitely lost a few clients after issuing a phone-bricking OTA update and apparently failing to fix the problem in a timely manner. Now, the US-based maker of unlocked Android handsets is back with two new devices: the Vivo One and the Vivo X. Just as the brand's few of the latest phones, the Vivo One and the Vivo X run Android Nougat out of the box and use MediaTek processors.
The Vivo X is already listed on Amazon, but not available yet. Its generous 6-inch HD+ display has an 18:9 ratio, but–thankfully–there is no notch to make it look like the Apple iPhone X. The rest of the specs include a MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity compatible with the networks of all major US carriers. This phablet features a 13 MP + 5 MP selfie camera setup, while the main image shooter comes with 20 MP + 8 MP sensors. It is currently listed on Amazon for US$299.99, with no launch date public yet.
The BLU Vivo One was silently introduced on the company's own website, and its specs suggest a budget-friendly 5.5-inch handset. The MediaTek MT6739 processor is accompanied by 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. Obviously, the display uses the ubiquitous 18:9 ratio, having a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. There is no dual photo setup here, just an 8 MP selfie shooter and a 12 MP main camera. The color choices are black, gold, silver, and blue. For now, the price is unknown, but don't expect anything above US$150.
