While many users with bricked phones are still waiting for an official solution to their problem, BLU Products forgets about the mayhem caused by its latest OTA update and silently intros the Life One X3 mid-ranger.

As you probably know already, BLU Products managed to close last month with a disaster. At the end of November, the US-based company that sells affordable unlocked handsets with MediaTek processors onboard released a broken software update that bricked a lot of BLU smartphones. Although an official statement that goes beyond the copy-pasted Facebook reply stage still has to arrive, BLU Products silently introduced the successor of the Life One X2, one of the models affected by the update mentioned above.

The BLU Life One X3 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a full HD display that is powered by a generous battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh. The other specs are decent for a mid-ranger, if we leave the rather outdated MediaTek MT6753 processor aside: 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, microSD support up to 64 GB, 13 MP main camera, 13 MP selfie shooter, micro USB 2.0, 4G LTE/WiFi/Bluetooth 4.0/GPS. Both cameras feature a LED flash, and a front-mounted fingerprint reader is also present.

The "Buy Now" button on the official product page does not lead anywhere yet, so the price of the Life One X3 remains a mystery for now. We should also add that the phone comes with Android Nougat and Android Oreo might become available as an update some day. However, we would advise those who will get the Life One X3 to wait for a while before applying any update from BLU Products. After all, it's better to get a late update than a "blu" heart and a bricked handset.
