Avoit and J-Pop singer Hyde have collaborated on the WA-J1 triple-driver over-ear headphones. The headphones combine the use of piezo, planar, and dynamic drivers for each ear for expressive high-resolution music playback with 3D spatial audio support. Its hybrid active noise cancellation leverages four microphones to cancel out background noise well.
The headphones can play back Hi-Res Audio over multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 connections using the LDAC codec. It also supports the new LC3 codec, offering higher-quality music playback compared to the common SBC and AAC codecs, which it also supports.
The internal battery can power the headphones for up to 140 hours, and recharging takes three hours with a USB-C power source. Owners can also connect the headphones to audio sources using a standard 3.5 mm headphone cable.
The special-edition WA-J1-666 model comes in special Hyde-themed packaging and is decorated with a red snake and cross artwork. Hyde's voice recordings are used for the headphone voice guidance. The sound reproduction has been tuned to bring out the best in Hyde's rock songs, with powerful bass and clear vocals.
