The Aventon Aventure.2 e-bike has been launched in the US. The bicycle has a 750 W brushless rear hub motor with 1,130 W peak power, providing a top assistance speed of 28 mph (~45 kph) with throttle on demand. You can choose from four levels of pedal assistance with an integrated torque sensor to adjust the power based on your pedal stroke. This is an upgrade compared to the original Aventure model, which used a cadence sensor, to provide more natural feeling assistance.
A 720 Wh lithium-ion battery enables you to travel for up to 60 miles (~97 km) on a single charge; you can fully recharge the power pack in four to five hours. The bike has a suspension fork with 80 mm travel and Tektro HD-E350 hydraulic disc brakes. Plus, 26 x 4-in (~66 x 10 cm) fat tires help to provide more grip on rough surfaces. The Aventure.2 is fitted with an LCD backlit display, showing your speed and battery level. You can also view journey stats and control the bicycle in an accompanying app.
The e-bike has a 6061 aluminum frame, with the bike weighing 77 lbs (~35 kg) and supporting loads up to 400 lbs (~181 kg). A stepover model is available in Slate Gray and Camouflage (green), and a step-through version comes in Cobalt Blue or Midnight Black. These models and sizes, regular and large, mean the bike suits riders from 4 ft 11-in to 6 ft 4-in (~150 cm to 193 cm). You can buy the Aventon Aventure.2 electric bicycle in the US for US$1,899. The e-bike may also be available in markets like the UK and EU via Aventon’s approved distributors.
