Asus reveals new 14-inch 360°-hinge laptop: 32GB RAM, integrated stylus, dual-cameras

Asus has just revealed the new ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 (B5406FMA) at Computex 2026. This is a 360-degree convertible laptop tailored for the needs of business professionals, educators, and students, Asus claims. The device blends flexibility with modern performance, featuring an (up to) the latest Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor equipped with an 18 TOPS NPU for AI-accelerated productivity. Please note that to be Copilot Plus-compatible, a machine needs at least 45 TOPS of NPU performance.

The laptop has a 14-inch NanoEdge touchscreen display with an 84% screen-to-body ratio; it’s a 16:10 panel delivering 400 nits of brightness. Speaking of the screen, the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 is built to adapt to various environments, featuring a 360-degree hinge that allows users to switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and display modes, says Asus.

Some of the highlighted features include:

• Integrated stylus: It includes a garaged MPP 2.0 stylus that stays secure and charged within the chassis. A quick 15-second charge provides up to 60 minutes of usage.
• Premium portability: The laptop features a sleek, "Gentle Gray" aluminum finish, weighing approximately 1.34 kg (2.95 lbs) and measuring 14.9 mm (0.59 inches) thin.
• Dual-camera system: For improved collaboration, the device is equipped with a 1080p FHD+IR user-facing camera for video calls and an optional 5.0 MP world-facing camera for capturing documents or real-world moments in tablet or tent modes. Both cameras include physical privacy shutters.
• Ports: Despite its thin profile, it offers a robust port selection including dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Under the hood, in addition to the Intel Core Series 7 Series 3, the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage; the convertible laptop gets a 63Wh battery with rapid-charging capabilities.

Asus promises the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 is very durable and secure:

• Security: It features Asus ExpertGuardian, which includes a NIST SP 800-193-compliant BIOS, a discrete TPM 2.0 chip, and an optional fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
• Durability: The unit is built to meet US MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of frequent travel and daily use.
