Reviews for the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED Q415MA

Is the Zenbook Q415 jack of all trades that I’d recommend to anyone looking for a laptop under 1 lakh? Maybe not! But it’s the perfect little machine for a student or office guy who’s just there to Netflix and chill after a long day of work. It keeps cool and quiet during a typical office day and lasts surprisingly long too. Quite handy to carry around, and feels premium to use as well. That’s a combo you just won’t get under 1 lakh in too many cases! Asus Zenbook 14 Q415MA is a premium looking ultrabook that cuts just the right corners to land below that 1 lakh threshold. Although the mesmarizing display, snappy performance, and long lasting battery life feel super polished, having just 8 gigs of soldered memory holds it back quite a bit. It's light and peppy on its feet but don't stress the Zenbook too hard or it might come down with a fever

The Asus Zenbook 14 is a solid laptop that is as versatile as it is high-performing. It boasts great performance, a crisp display, sturdy design, comfortable keyboard, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I didn't even mention the 1080p webcam, the anti-fingerprint coating covering the trackpad, or maybe the best part of all: the affordable price. You can purchase my review unit's configuration on Best Buy for $799.99, but there's always the option to upgrade the hardware if you're looking for something with more power behind it. A Zenbook 14 sporting an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, Intel Arc GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage will start at $1,299 but come with significant jump up in processing power. No matter which one you get, it'll be worth the low price.

Intel Arc 7-Core: Integrated graphics adapter based on the Xe LPG architecture (similar to the dedicated Arc GPUs, but with a focus on efficiency). Provides 7 of the 8 Xe cores (112 Xe Vector Engines) and 7 ray tracing units.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Ultra 5 125H: A mid-range Meteor Lake family chip that debuted in December 2023. This 1st Gen Core Ultra laptop processor has come to replace 13th generation Core chips; it has 14 cores (4 + 8 + 2) and 18 threads at its disposal. Its Performance cores, of which there are 4, run at up to 4.5 GHz while its Efficient cores, of which there are 10 (8 main cores plus 2 extra ones found in the Low Power Island) run at up to 3.6 GHz. The 7-core Arc GPU, just out of the oven, serves as the integrated graphics adapter (this runs at up to 2.20 GHz) and there is a bevy of other brand-new technologies on offer as well such as the integrated AI Boost NPU with two Gen 3 engines for hardware AI workload acceleration. The chip's Intel-recommended Base power consumption is 28 W while its maximum Turbo power consumption is supposed to be within 115 W.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
