The Asus Vivobook S15 is currently discounted to just $849.99 on Amazon, a whopping 35% off list price. Inside, there's a 12-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 joined by 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8448 memory, in addition to a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD occupying the lonesome M.2 2280 slot.
Connectivity includes two USB4 ports (40 Gbps, DisplayPort Alt Mode 1.4, Power Delivery), two 5 Gbps USB-A, HDMI 2.1 (limited to TMDS), a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, as well as a microSD card reader. Support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 is also present, as is a 1,080p webcam with IR and a single-zone RGB backlit keyboard.
The VivoBook's all-metal body measures 13.88 × 8.93 × 0.63 inches (353 × 227 × 16 mm) and weighs 3.13 lbs (1.42 kg), while housing a 70 Wh battery that can fast charge to 60% in 49 minutes.
