Archive.org versionWe have to hand it to Asus for pricing the VivoBook 15 (X505Z) this aggressively. At Rs. 35,990, it's tough to find anything that matches the model we have in terms of specifications. The closest one that we could find, with Windows included, is the Acer Aspire 5 (A515-51) but it has 4GB of RAM and a lower resolution display for a bit more money. The VivoBook 15 (X505Z) launched in December with a 1-month exclusive tie-up with Paytm Mall, and even today, that's the only place that seems to have all the variants listed.

Archive.org versionIf your budget is constrained to around Rs 36,000, the VivoBook X505ZA is easily one of the best options if smooth performance is your primary concern. The laptop is also fairly convenient to carry around due to its compact size and lightweight. Asus has also managed to make it look striking for a budget laptop.

Archive.org versionHighlight of the Asus VivoBook 15 X505ZA laptop is powerful AMD Ryzen 5 processor and Radeon Vega 8 processor for graphics. At the given price point, the Asus laptop handles graphic-intensive applications and games very well. If you’re looking for an affordable laptop with good performance, Asus VivoBook 15 X505ZA is worth considering. For about Rs 50,000, you can also consider laptops such as Dell Vostro 3578 and Lenovo Ideapad 320.

Archive.org versionThe new VivoBook 15 is one such laptop that tries hard to appeal to the masses. It can do a lot of things right at a very compelling price. Sure, the battery life could have been better, but otherwise the versatility of this laptop is unmatchable.

Archive.org versionThe Asus Vivobook X505 offers decent performance for the price. It has a vibrant display which is good for watching movies, but unfit for photo editing. The performance is acceptably good for using Office applications but programs like Photoshop or games like Doom are not meant to be run on this laptop. This machine is greatly suited for anyone who needs a portable machine for work and doesn’t want to spend much on it, but there are better machines if you’re a power users, albeit for a higher price.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
