Asus has shown off a bunch of accessories to complement its laptops at Computex 2024. They include the new ROG Delta II gaming headset and ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 router. The former succeeds the ROG Delta and the latter is a Wi-Fi 7 solution tailor-made for gamers. Asus will unveil the price and availability of both at a later point.
Asus ROG Delta II
The Asus ROG Delta II comes with 50 mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers and a 10 mm wideband microphone. Like most modern gaming headsets, it offers three connectivity modes: 2.4 GHz (using Asus' in-house Speednova tech), Bluetooth and wired. Asus claims the headset can last up to 110 hours on a single charge with RGB lights switched off. The ROG Delta II lets you connect to two devices simultaneously.
ROG Rapture GT-BE19000
The Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 keeps its predecessor's gamer-y aesthetic, complete with eight Wi-Fi antennas and trapezoidal shape. Asus claims its Wi-Fi 7 radio can offer speeds up to 19 Gbps. The router comes with two 10 Gbps ports and four 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports. You can even connect a 4G LTE/5G dongle to the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000's USB port for uninterrupted connectivity. It combines all 'gaming-centric' workloads into one SSID and offers device-level protection features, including an in-built VPN.
