Apple should take a look at this iPad Pro Max concept
With Apple having just released the fourth-generation iPad Pros, conceptstation_design and Tailosive Tech have imagined what Apple could do if it really pushed the boat out. Realised as a 16-inch device, the iPad Pro Max blends the iPad Pro design with elements from the MacBook Pro 16.
To that end, the two have included four USB 4.0 Type-C ports, the camera system from the iPhone 11 series and Face ID. Additionally, the pair have included dual smart connector ports, which would allow accessories to pass through up to 10 W of power the tablet.
Pitched as an alternative to the MacBook Pro 16, the tablet would ship with a Magic Keyboard as standard. The latter has received an overhaul too, with conceptstation_design and Tailosive Tech opting for a more MacBook-sized trackpad than the one that Apple included in the Magic Keyboard for the fourth-generation iPad Pro series.
Naturally, we are not going to see Apple realise this design anytime soon. However, the company does seem to be gradually expanding its definition of what the iPad should do. Hence, we would not rule out Apple releasing a larger iPad Pro at some point with more connectivity and a greater focus on it being a laptop replacement first than a tablet that can occasionally replace your laptop.
