Apple iPhone 15 Pro UFO Collection launches with real meteorite fragments, decorative aliens and star destroyers
Caviar regularly introduces exclusive, strictly limited and extremely expensive variants of popular smartphones. Its latest creation is the UFO Collection of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro (around US$1000 on Best Buy) and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which consists of a total of three models.
The most expensive "Astral" version has a titanium case with a stylized image of the Milky Way, made of 24-carat gold. At the center of the galaxy sits a 2 millimeter black diamond, while the back features several fragments from Mars, the moon and the Muonionalusta meteorite, which was found in Sweden in 1906 and is one of the oldest meteorites found to date.
The Alien model also features a titanium case as well as an elaborate, three-dimensional alien skull made of PVD-coated titanium, whose eyes are made of Murchison meteorite fragments. The titanium back of the Starship model is adorned with a Star Destroyer from Star Wars, but perhaps to avoid royalties, it is simply referred to as a futuristic spaceship. As usual, the Caviar models are technically identical to the regular iPhone 15 Pro, although neither wireless charging nor MagSafe are likely to work due to the titanium back.
