An interesting iPhone 12-related rumor has been posted by a previously unknown leaker on Twitter. The account called @omegaleaks has only been actively posting as of today and has already offered up a tasty tidbit about the iPhone 12. According to the source, Apple could introduce two 4G-only variants that are priced at affordable levels: US$549 for the presumably 5.4-inch regular model and US$649 for the larger 6.1-inch Max model.

There has been mention of a potential 4G variant of the iPhone 12 before, so even though it’s important to take the above rumor from a new leaker with a pinch of salt, there could be some truth behind it. For instance, an analyst called Daniel Ives has reportedly stated that Apple has lined up a 4G iPhone 12 to allow the company to take advantage of fans who baulk at paying the higher prices the Cupertino firm has been noted for in the past.
