The new color is called Midnight and it brings the available color options to five. No, not six. When the Homepod mini launched in 2020, it was available to buy in White and Space Gray, then Apple announced the speaker in Blue, Orange, and Yellow in October 2021. However, Apple has chosen to discontinue the Space Gray as it announces the new Midnight color.
The new color will keep the $99 price tag and is available to order from Apple's website and the Apple Store app. Interested buyers will also be available to purchase it at Apple Stores in Canada, Mainland China, Singapore, the U.S, and 28 other countries beginning on July 17.
While the HomePod mini is available in five colors, the bigger Apple HomePod (second-gen) comes in just two - Midnight and White.
