Another HTC phone looks to be on the way
HTC has had a rather noteworthy year, with the company launching a carefully selected range of devices across the year. The Taiwanese manufacturers launched the U11+ and the Android One U11 Life just last week but it looks like they may be set to wrap up the year with yet another device.
This potential device, codenamed "Ocean Harmony" would not be much of a surprise, as there was word of it back in September. The Harmony will sport a 6-inch FHD+ full-screen display—like in the U11+, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. It's said to be powered by the Snapdragon 652, which would something of a baffling move by HTC.
The 652 was released about 16 months ago, and is built on a 28nm process, making it an outdated processor for the most part. HTC has developed a habit of dropping the ball in any one particular department, and it looks like the processor on the Harmony may be the latest slip-up.
The Harmony will run on a 3930 mAh battery, and will feature HTC's new Edge Sense. A December launch is expected.
