Deal | Anker Nebula Cosmos: DLP laser projectors receive hefty discounts with up to in US$700 savings
The Anker Nebula Cosmos is currently available at a huge discount through Amazon US. Showcased during CES 2022, the Nebula Cosmos went on to receive over US$3 million on Kickstarter before landing on Amazon. The projector received a healthy discount during Prime Day 2022 too, with the retailer discounting the 4K version by 20% from its US$2,199 list price.
Currently, the 4K model has dropped by 23% to US$1,699.99. However, the 1080p edition is available at an even deeper discount, with US$700 or 41% taken off its US$1,699.99 list price. While the 1080p edition resolves at a lower resolution than its 4K sibling, it matches its 2,400 ANSI Lumens peak brightness and 25,000 hours light source lifespan.
Moreover, the Anker Nebula Cosmos series utilises Android TV 10.0 paired with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a low-powered ARM chipset. The 1080p edition makes do with stereo 10 W speakers compared to twin 10 W and twin 2 W speakers in the 4K version. Conversely, both projectors can create between 60-inch and 150-inch projections when placed 5.54 feet to 13.85 feet away from a wall, respectively.
