Urrun 10: E-bike can be ordered right away with a wide range of features
The Urrun 10 is an e-bike with a mid-drive motor that is well-suited for off-road riding, but it can also be adapted for everyday commuting. Its range can be extended with an optional battery.

With the Urrun 10, manufacturer Orbea offers a high-performance e-bike designed primarily for off-road terrain. While it dispenses with a rear shock, it features a Marzocchi suspension fork with 120 millimeters of travel, making this hardtail well-suited for both light trails and longer tours. Orbea equips the bike with a Shimano EP-series mid-drive motor (EP600 RS+), which optimizes the bike's center of gravity—a crucial advantage for off-road handling. The motor delivers up to 85 Nm of torque.

Power comes from an integrated 630 Wh battery, which can be supplemented by an optional 210 Wh range extender. However, direct orders from Orbea carry a steep €449 surcharge for the extra battery. By contrast, the €109 package—comprising Curana fenders and a MIK-HD-compatible luggage rack—feels almost bargain-priced and significantly improves the bike's touring credentials. A lighting setup and kickstand are also available at an extra cost.

The drivetrain utilizes a 12-speed Shimano XT setup, allowing riders to manage steep climbs effectively even without continuous motor support. Stopping power is provided by hydraulic Shimano MT6120 brakes, while 29-inch Schwalbe Wicked Will Evo tires are fitted at both the front and rear, ruling out a mullet configuration. Orbea lists the minimum weight at just under 20 kilograms (44 lbs), with pricing set at €4,199. Orbea operates actively in various markets worldwide.
