If you're on the hunt for a cheap 2-in-1 notebook with a 4K touchscreen, look no further than the Dell XPS 12. Currently selling on Amazon for just over half-price, this laptop may not be packing the latest and greatest but suffices for general tasks.

This one comes courtesy of Laptop Mag, which first spotted the deal. A Dell XPS 12 4K 2-in-1 laptop is currently on sale on Amazon, at a heavily discounted price.

The laptop, which normally sells for $1,099, is only $650 right now. That's a pretty significant $450 price cut. The Dell XPS 12 features a 12.5-inch 4K touchscreen, and is powered by an Intel Core m5-6Y54 1.1 GHz dual-core processor (with Turbo Boost clocks up to 2.7 GHz on a single core). It's definitely not the most exciting processor, but it should be sufficient for basic tasks.

Additional specs include 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. An Intel HD Graphics 515 integrated card handles the display aspect. The XPS 12 supports 802.11 AC wireless connectivity. It runs Windows 10.

Design-wise, the XPS 12 resembles a Surface tablet, with its rectangular slab shape and rounded corners. It looks great, although its all-black finish makes it look more business- than leisure-friendly. It's decently portable, too: it weighs just under 3 pounds when combined with its keyboard (so not the lightest 2-in-1 out there), and features a 1-inch profile. Unfortunately, you will have to keep its power adapter handy, as the XPS 12 averages only 4-and-a-half hours of juice on a full charge.

The Dell XPS 12 can be found here, and ships immediately.
