Amazon adds two new free games to Luna, including a survival horror adventure

Amazon Prime members get access to several benefits with their subscription, including free and fast shipping on eligible purchases, exclusive discounts, and other perks. On top of that, Amazon also offers a new set of games every month that members can claim and play through Luna (formerly Prime Gaming) without paying anything extra. And now that October has started, the company has added the first two games from this month’s lineup. 

New free games added to Luna

The first free game is DOOM (GOG), id Software's fast-paced first-person shooter. The game takes players to a massive Union Aerospace Corporation research facility on Mars, where an experiment has gone horribly wrong, and the facility is now overrun by demons. You step into the role of the DOOM Marine, who must fight through the invasion and prevent the creatures from spreading further.

Combat is built around constant movement rather than hiding behind cover. Players get access to an arsenal of powerful weapons, upgrades, and melee attacks that can be combined to quickly take down different types of demons. Alongside its single-player campaign, DOOM also features fast-paced multiplayer modes and SnapMap, which allows players to create and share their own maps and gameplay experiences.

The second game is Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit (Epic Games Store), a horror adventure that follows a boy named Oswald. Tired of his ordinary life, Oswald explores a ball pit inside an old pizzeria and unexpectedly finds himself traveling into the past. What initially seems like an exciting discovery quickly turns into something much more dangerous.

Players must survive five nights while moving between different time periods, solving puzzles, gathering clues, and avoiding a threat that is constantly hunting them. Overall, the game combines exploration, puzzles, mystery, and the familiar horror elements of the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

It’s also important to keep in mind that both games are available to claim for free until November 4. If you manage to add them to your library before the deadline expires, they’ll be yours to keep forever.
