Best Buy has slashed a gigantic $500 off the retail price of the 75-inch TCL Q7/Q750G QLED TV. With a 144 Hz native refresh rate, superb contrast, and high brightness, the TCL Q7 on sale is a no-brainer for folks looking for a budget-friendly 4K TV.

Gone are the days when you had to spend more than $1,000 to get a large screen 4K TV with good picture quality. Today, you can find big 4K QLED/Mini LED/OLED TVs for less than $1,000 thanks to frequent sales. One such sale has now pushed the price of the 75-inch TCL Q7 QLED TV to $500 lower than the list price.

So, if you are on the hunt for an affordable, large-screen 4K TV, the TCL Q7 QLED 75-inch TV is available at Best Buy for just $599.99 (linked at the end).

For just $600, the 75-inch TCL Q7 is packed with features. The TV’s VA panel rocks 200 Local Dimming zones, a 144 Hz native refresh rate, AMD FreeSync/Nvidia G-Sync, and full console support. The TV is also IMAX Enhanced certified and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats.

Fortunately, the TCL Q7 isn’t just good on paper alone. Rtings’ review shows that the TV has excellent contrast, wide DCI-P3 coverage, high HDR/SDR brightness, and good color volume. The TCL Q7 reportedly also excels when it comes to 4K upscaling and low-quality content smoothing.

For instance, Rtings’ measurements detail native and Local Dimming contrast of 9,614 and 80,160:1, respectively. The HDR and SDR 25% Peak Window brightness figures stand at 926 and 888 nits, respectively. Moreover, the TV boasts more than 96% DCI-P3 uv coverage.

However, the TCL Q7 does show its mid-range nature in a few areas.

For starters, the VA panel doesn’t have wide viewing angles. So, if you need a TV with good viewing angles, take a look at an OLED TV like the LG B4. The reflection handling of the TV is also just alright.

Finally, the TCL Q7 has poor factory calibration, as Rtings gives the TV a disappointing 4.6 rating in this department. Users can, however, follow Rtings’ calibration guide to considerably improve the color accuracy of the TV.

All in all, the TCL Q7 75-inch QLED TV on sale for $600 is an undeniable value, considering that it has almost everything you need for a good media watching and gaming experience.
