The Qualcomm Adreno 840 is an integrated graphics unit in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC for smartphones with three slices with 1.2 GHz each. All three slices can access 18 MB of High Performance Memory (HPM).

According to Qualcomm, the Adreno 840 is 23% faster than the previous generation (Adreno 830) and 20% more efficient.

The SoC is manufactured in the modern 3nm (N3P) process at TSMC.

The Adreno 810 is an integrated graphics unit for smartphones and tablets that is being used for the first time in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and is intended for use in Android-based mid-range devices.

According to Wikipedia, the GPU operates at up to 895 or 1,050 MHz. It supports common graphics APIs such as Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL ES 3.2 and OpenCL 2.0 FP, but not ray tracing.

According to Qualcomm, the GPU is up to 40% faster than the previous generation (hence probably the Adreno 710). In our benchmarks, the GPU does not stand out quite as clearly from the 710, but on average it remains well ahead.

The Adreno 810 supports displays with an extended Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The HDR standards HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ and HDR Vivid are also supported.
