AYN reveals date for next batch of Thor and Odin 3 pre-orders

Now that the Chinese New Year holiday is over, AYN has announced its shipping and pre-order plans for the Thor and Odin 3 Android handhelds.

The handheld manufacturer is kicking things off with the shipping of the third batch of the AYN Thor. An official post on Discord said the Thor Base model will be sent out first (starting this week), while the other variants will begin shipping next week.

AYN has also announced that it will begin accepting a new batch of pre-orders for the Thor and Odin 3. For the former, this is the fourth batch of pre-orders, following the first batch which began shipping in October 2025 and the second batch in January 2026. The third batch is the one which just began to ship.

The new batch of pre-orders for the Odin 3 is the fifth, and like the fourth batch of the Thor pre-orders, AYN says it will begin on March 1. Shipping for these new batches for both devices is expected to begin in April.

It is worth mentioning that the new batch of pre-orders will not be affected by the proposed price increase, as that is supposed to take effect in April. Nevertheless, those who are sitting on the fence or are waiting for the Thor to get cheaper, are advised to purchase the handheld now ahead of the price increase.
