Lenovo's latest ThinkPad laptops are anything but cheap, especially for demanding users who are looking at machines from the high-end X or T-series. That being said, at least the ThinkPad T14s has now dropped to a more reasonable price point as Lenovo is once again granting a massive discount on its rather portable 14-inch business notebook.
Similar to a New Year's deal from a month ago, Lenovo has put the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 configuration with the AMD Ryzen AI 7 Pro 360 on sale on eBay. This time, the price cut has been upped to a total of 50 percent or almost $1,400 compared to the regular list price. As a result, the Lenovo laptop can now be ordered for $1,369 including free shipping, which undercuts the previous all-time low by another $93.
In addition to the octa-core chipset from AMD's Strix Point family of processors, this SKU of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s features soldered 32GB RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD as well as Windows 11 Pro. The laptop is further equipped with a 400-nit Full-HD IPS screen with 100% sRGB, a 58Whr battery, backlit keyboard and IR webcam. For all the technical intricacies of the 14-inch Lenovo notebook, please check out our in-depth review.
Like most products from Lenovo's business-focused lineup, the T14s Gen 6 has very good input devices and a high-quality chassis. We also praised the battery life and connectivity options, but users should expect a relatively quiet yet constantly running fan. In addition to that, owners won't be able to replace the keyboard or soldered memory. This means that the ThinkPad T14s is certainly not the perfect laptop for everyone, but thanks to its significant price drop, it can be a viable choice for quite a few users.
