The Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 10 is a very decent 16-inch gaming laptop that is currently witnessing a massive Black Friday discount on Lenovo's official website. Powered by the capable AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor and RTX 5070 graphics, the Legion Pro 5 is an excellent OLED gamer that is now quite affordable as well.

Black Friday sale is in full swing, with a plenty of gaming laptops hitting attractive record-low prices. The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 Gen 10 is no exception, and is now available with a massive $600 discount on Lenovo's official online store, courtesy of Lenovo's ongoing sale as well as the beloved "EXTRAFIVE" coupon. As such, the gaming laptop can now be bought for just $1,439.24.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 Gen 10 packs the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor, featuring a total of 16 Zen 5 cores and 32 threads. Simply put, the Ryzen 9 chip is among the fastest mobile CPUs currently available on the planet, and can handle any CPU-intensive workload without breaking a sweat. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB of VRAM should allow for a decent gaming experience as well, although the VRAM amount is definitely lower than ideal for 2026.

Legion Pro 5 Gen 10: Solid performance paired with an excellent display

In our detailed review of the Legion Pro 5 with an Intel CPU and RTX 5070 GPU, we were extremely satisfied with the performance of the gaming laptop. Moreover, the 16-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED display, which is the same as the one in the discounted AMD variant, performed admirably in our testing. The contrast ratios are unsurprisingly excellent, and the color reproduction is truly impressive with 99.3% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The 165 Hz refresh rate makes it excellent for fast-paced games as well.

The overall thermal performance is perfectly adequate, as revealed in our review. The 80 Wh battery allows for decent runtimes away from the wall, although the 4 hours and 55 minutes of WiFi websurfing is nothing to write home about. That said, at its current sale price on Lenovo, the Legion Pro 5 Gen 10 gaming laptop is an excellent choice for most gamers and content creators.

Other notable details of the laptop include 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, 1 TB SSD (PCIe Gen 4), WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 5 MP webcam with physical privacy shutter.
