Prior to its launch, the Mi 11 often appeared in leaks alongside its Pro version. However, these rumors failed to come true at Xiaomi's late December 2020 launch event. Therefore, a buying decision during the vanilla 11's reservation and pre-order phase (which is now underway in China) seems straightforward for aspiring Snapdragon 888-owners.
Then again, a new leak from Digital Chat Station might complicate things again somewhat. This popular Weibo-based rumor-spinner now claims that the Mi 11 Pro is on the way after all. It is now slated to launch after the "Spring Festival", or Chinese New Year.
This event will fall in February 2021. Therefore, another new flagship option might be available to purchase in its native market at some point afterward. Digital Chat Station has also suggested that the 11 Pro might only really differ from the base model in terms of cameras and its charging speed.
It might get the 120 watt (W) system previously seen in the Mi 10 Ultra, whereas the Mi 11 makes do with an optional 55W brick.
