The Samsung Galaxy A70's successor is available in 4G and 5G flavors. The latter is powered by the Exynos 980 processor. Now, there is evidence that its OEM is making another variant of this phone, albeit with a Qualcomm SoC.
It has been detected on the Geekbench 5 website, and is touted to be called the Samsung Galaxy A71s by the leaker @smartvenkat on Twitter. This is because the model number associated with this new tip is "samsung SM-A716V", whereas that of the A71 5G is SM-A716F/DS or SM-A7156/DSN.
According to its new benchmarking result, this putative 5G mid-ranger is powered by a platform code-named lito, which has translated to the Snapdragon 765 in earlier leaks. It also has 8GB of RAM, which is also present in some SKUs of the existing Galaxy A71 5G. However, this does not mean that such a phone will launch for sure at this point.
