Amazon has discounted the LG C3 TV to one of its lowest prices thus far, which makes the 77-inch OLED TV from the 2023 model year a much more attractive option than the very expensive and barely improved successor.

Although the slightly improved successor to the sought-after LG C3 OLED has already received its first noteworthy discount, bargain hunters who consider purchasing a large 77-inch TV and want to maximize their savings might want to opt for last year's model instead.

Case in point, the 77-inch LG C3 has now dropped to $1,999 as Amazon once again sells the gorgeous OLED TV for 43% or $1,500 off the original list price. Camelcamelcamel's price history shows that this is one of Amazon's lowest prices yet for the popular mid-range television, but it should be noted that the LG C3 OLED was briefly available for an incredible price of $1,724 in early March.

Considering the steep discount, the LG C3 is definitely a much better bang for the buck option compared to its aforementioned successor. For $1,300 or 39% less than the new 2024 model, buyers are getting a just slightly less bright 77-inch OLED TV with great color reproduction, perfect black levels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Aside from passionate home theater enthusiasts who prefer to own the latest and greatest screen, most regular TV users probably won't be able to tell the difference in picture quality. Hence, this Amazon offer for the 77-inch LG C3 OLED is a mentionable deal that is arguably worth more attention than the latest but not much improved C4.
