The LG Ultragear OLED 45GS95QE's price has come down by a rather impressive 46% in a new limited-time Amazon deal. The LG Ultragear 45GS95QE is a 45-inch OLED monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync support. It also supports 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and comes factory-calibrated.

Recent Amazon sales on gaming monitors have seen even the affordable 1440p ASUS TUF Gaming 34 get even cheaper. However, the latest massive discount to come out of Amazon is for the 45-inch LG Ultragear OLED 45GS95QE, which has been discounted from $1699.99 to a whopping $919.90 — a 46% discount off the regular retail price.

The LG Ultragear 45GS95QE is a 45-inch OLED gaming monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. It's also packed with all the bells and whistles you might need for gaming, including Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

In terms of brightness, the LG Ultragear 45 is DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, meaning it should have a minimum peak brightness of 400 nits in an 8% centre patch and cover a minimum of 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space. LG itself claims the Ultragear OLED 45 is capable of 275 nits peak brightness across the entire display, which isn't shabby for an OLED. Meanwhile, LG also claims the 45-inch monitor has 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space with factory calibration bringing that

What this all means is that the LG Ultragear OLED 45GS95QE doesn't sacrifice a whole lot in terms of creativity and productivity performance in order to achieve its gaming prowess.

Along with solid performance claims, the LG Ultragear OLED has a number of additional creature comforts, like Dual Controller, which is just LG's branding for a MUX switch that allows you to connect peripherals directly to the monitor's USB hub and use one mouse and keyboard across two computers. In that same vein, LG has also equipped the Ultragear OLED 45 with picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes, which essentially allow you to emulate a dual monitor setup on the same display.

Check out the LG Ultragear 45GS95QE on Amazon for $919.90 ($780.09 off) during the limited-time sale
