With the new Apple A16-powered 11th-gen iPad out and about, it was only a matter of time before its last-gen counterpart got discounted. Amazon is now offering attractive discounts on both the 64 GB and 256 GB varaints, with the latter dropping to its lowest price ever.
The 64 GB 10th-gen iPad has dropped to $290. While this isn't the cheapest it has ever been, that is still a decent price. Next, the 256 GB variant can be had $350. An extra $60 for four times the storage. Do note, this price only applies to the Silver and Blue colour variants, for some reason. All of the above variants are Wi-Fi-only.
Under the hood, the 10th-gen iPad comes with a 10.9-inch LCD panel clocked at 60 Hz, an Apple A14 SoC, 4 GB RAM, a 12 MP front and rear camera and a 7,600 mAh battery. Its Apple A series SoC makes it ineligible for Apple Intelligence, but you should be fine without it. Apple's segmentation forces you to get an iPad Air for that privilege.
Our in-depth review of the 10th-gen iPad praised it for its design, bright screen and Apple's commitment to software updates. While it finally ditches the Lightning connector for USB-C, the port runs at USB 2.0 speeds, making wired data transfer cumbersome.
