iQOO will announce the Pad 5 series of tablets on May 20, and ahead of their launch, it has teased a new stylus that will be sold as the iQOO Pencil 3 (stylized as iQOO Pencil3). The new stylus, which will be compatible with the iQOO Pad5 series, packs some pretty interesting features.
First, iQOO claims the Pencil 3 stylus has millisecond-level low latency for a natural and responsive experience when writing or drawing. It also says the stylus has 10,000 levels of pressure sensitivity which is higher than what several Wacom styluses offer. The higher level of pressure sensitivity should make the iQOO Pencil 3 great for drawing.
In a promotional image, the iQOO Pencil 3 is shown to have a white cylindrical design with one flat side that should prevent it from rolling off a surface. It also has a removable tip. The overall design is almost identical to that of the Apple Pencil Pro (curr. available on Amazon for $99), even down to the position of the name engraved on the side.
The iQOO Pencil 3 has an integrated battery and supports magnetic wireless charging. The stylus is shown to be compatible with the iQOO Pad 5 in the image above, but it is not known if it will be compatible with the iQOO Pad 2 series announced last year.
The iQOO Pencil 3 will launch alongside the iQOO Pad 5 series tomorrow. iQOO will also announce the Neo10 Pro + smartphone, iQOO TWS Air 3 earbuds, iQOO Magnetic Cooling Back Clip Pro, and iQOO 33W Power Bank.
