Apple is not expected to release its 2025 iPhones for months - however, it is not too soon for their design to be finalized in the form of dummies for case manufacturers, according to Unbox Therapy.
The popular YouTube channel claims to have acquired these models for the higher-end iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. The former is represented by a simple blank dummy that outlines its contours, buttons and MagSafe charging coil placement - although this one also allegedly has the 16 Pro's successor's measurements on it.
They apparently confirm the fact that the 17 Pro might be nearly as tall and wide as its forebear, yet have a mid-frame of about 0.45 millimeters higher than that of the 16 Pro.
The same is allegedly true of the 17 Pro Max, although its model did not get the calipers taken to it in this new leak, unfortunately.
Its new two-tone rear panel did make an appearance in the video, with Unbox Therapy host Lewis Hilsentegger casting aspersions on its esthetics compared to those of the 16 Pro Max.
The 17 Pro series' camera housing is also thought to gain an extra layer to its camera hump that encompasses its flash, which are also on display in this new video.
