Xiaomi has not revealed when it will be presenting the Poco F7 yet as the entry-level option in the Poco F7 series. So far, the company has launched the Poco F7 Ultra alongside the cheaper Poco F7 Pro (curr. $599.99 on Amazon). However, a recent teaser suggested that it had a third variant on the cusp of an official release.
Subsequently, Xiaomi has sought to frame its next Poco F series smartphone as being a throwback to classic models like the Poco F1 and the Poco F3 GT. As a result, it seems that Xiaomi will lean heavily on the device's affordable price tag and its price-performance ratio in pre and post-release marketing. The company is still remaining quiet about when exactly it will update the Poco F series with a new model for the time being, let alone its retail name.
A fresh regulatory body certification should put an end to what Xiaomi has up its sleeve, though. Specifically, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in the UAE has reiterated that Xiaomi is preparing to offer the Poco F7 internationally and not just in India. Issued on June 9, the certification also emphasises that Xiaomi will sell the Poco F7 with the model number '25053PC4G' globally. Potentially, the company is preparing a special edition variant too, albeit with the same 6.83-inch AMOLED display, 6,500 mAh battery and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset as regular Poco F7 variants.
