Vivo launches new affordable power bank with built-in cable and slim form factor

Vivo has introduced a host of new products in China, and the PB2531 power bank is one of them. The portable charger features a 10,000 mAh battery capacity, which should be good enough for recharging most smartphones around two times. There's a built-in cable, which, paired with compact and slim, makes the unit travel-friendly.

The new Vivo power bank also has an additional USB-C port, allowing it to power two devices at the same time. On that note, the portable charger has support for 33 W fast charging, which, according to the company, lets the unit get the iPhone 16 to 58% in 30 minutes and the X200 to 48% in the same time frame.

There's support for a wide range of charging protocols, including PD 3.0, QC 2.0, and PPS. This broad support should make the power bank work with most devices, including low-powered accessories like smartwatches.

Another highlight of the Vivo 33 W power bank is the security features. The company says that these protection features will ensure safe and stable charging. Among the other notable aspects of the portable charger are three color options and a lithium-ion polymer internal battery pack.

Price-wise, the power bank launched in China at CNY 129, which is around $18. Vivo has yet to share when the 33 W power bank will be available in the global market, but it could make an international debut alongside the newly announced S30 series.
