Pitaka has unveiled its latest Aramid Fiber magnetic power bank globally. Pitaka’s new magnetic power bank, designed for smartphones, features a 5,000 mAh battery, which offers sufficient power to keep the device running through a full day. As far as charging speed is concerned, the Qi2-certified power bank offers fast wireless charging up to 15 W, while wired charging can go up to 20 W via the USB-C port.
The power bank is crafted with a distinctive woven aramid fiber texture and matte metallic finish. While Pitaka’s magnetic power bank is primarily advertised for iPhones, it’s also compatible with Android phones as well. Dimensionally, it measures 4.1 x 2.8 x 0.32 inches (102 x 70 x 8.8 mm) and weighs just 4.16 oz (118 grams), making it light enough to carry on the go. According to the company, the built-in magnets provide a reliable and secure attachment to MagSafe and Qi2-enabled devices.
Unlike other power banks such as the Ugreen 100 W and Anker Zolo with integrated displays, the portable accessory comes with LED indicators, which show the battery levels. Pitaka has also added smart temperature control tech into the power bank.
Available in Aramid Fiber finished moonrise, black, sunset, alien, forest green, and ocean blue colorways, the Pitka Aramid Fiber magnetic power bank is priced at $69.99/£69.99/€79.99. You can now purchase the power bank via Pitaka’s official website and Amazon.
