Vivo has only just released the X Fold5 in China. For the time being, the company has not confirmed international release plans. However, recent rumours suggest that the device could reach India by the middle of next month.
Regardless, an increasing number of third parties have started offering the X Fold5 for those who are happy to have their smartphone imported from China. Please note that this means the X Fold5 will run OriginOS 5 in Chinese out of the box. With that being said, OriginOS 5 provides multi-language support and integrates Western software like Android Auto and Google Wallet.
At the time of writing, the X Fold5 can be purchased through Average Dad Tech or Wonda Mobile in its Titanium, Pine or White colour options. It is worth keeping in mind that the first of these is 9 g lighter and 0.5 mm thinner at 217 g and 9.2 mm, respectively. Please see our X Fold5 launch article for a full rundown of the device's features and how it compares with Vivo's last-generation foldables and other options like the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $999 - refurbished on Amazon). Currently, Average Dad Tech and Wonda Mobile have priced the X Fold5 as follows, with shipments to begin from both during the second week of July:
