ThundeRobot announced the MIX gaming mini PC back in September of this year. Featuring a starting price tag of CNY5499 (around US$754), the initial launch had a limited stock. Now, ThundeRobot has restocked the mini PC and is offering all the different configurations of the system.

Chinese manufacturers have started to offer some great-looking gaming mini PCs. For example, AOOSTAR launched the GOD7 a couple of days ago. It featured a futuristic Cyberpunk-inspired design. Then, there's the  AceMagic Tank 03, which debuted with a sci-fi spaceship-inspired design. Now, a new competitor has entered the scene: the ThundeRobot MIX gaming mini PC.

Although, it's worth noting that ThundeRobot MIX isn't actually a recently announced gaming mini PC. It debuted in September. However, during its initial launch, the manufacturer had a limited quantity in stock. For those who missed out on the first sale, now is the opportunity to acquire one.

ThundeRobot has restocked the MIX gaming mini PC. The brand has also started offering all the variants it announced during the first launch. While the mini PC hasn't had a formal global debut yet, international customers can purchase it through third-party retailers.

When it comes to the key highlights, the design of the ThundeRobot MIX has to be the biggest standout. It looks very similar to the Alienware Steam Machine. But under the hood, it's more capable than the Alienware mini PC. The base model features Intel Core i7-13620H with Nvidia RTX 4060.

On the other hand, the high-end version comes equipped with Intel Core i9-13900H and Nvidia RTX 4070. In the pre-configured state, the ThundeRobot MIX gaming mini PC comes with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of storage. And with its robust five-heat pipe design, it can easily handle heavy loads.

Overall, the ThundeRobot MIX has both great looks and great specs. But even though it's priced competitively in China, the lack of official global support makes the gaming mini PC a bit expensive for international customers. For context, the base model in China is around US$754, while MINIXPC sells it for US$1399.
