This is something PlayStation gamers are still struggling to get used to. Every month, new titles are added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog, but some games are also removed. This will be the case in July, with six games leaving, including some big names.
The first wave was unveiled on the Japanese and Asian PlayStation Store. It must be said that these regions of the world are ahead of others, and as is often the case, these changes will apply later in Europe and North America.
As a result, the first game affected by this removal on July 15 is Remnant 2. In this souls-like game, you'll have to fight evil creatures and titanic bosses, either solo or cooperatively with two friends, in order to put an end to the evil that is consuming your world.
Next, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will be leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog. In this game, set seven years before the events of Final Fantasy VII, you will follow the adventures of Zack Fair, a young Shinra soldier. His goal is to find First Class Soldier Genesis Rhapsodos, but his mission will not go as planned. He will uncover secrets about Shinra's experiments and face terrifying creatures.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will also be removed on July 15. Set fifteen years after Dying Light, you play as Aiden Caldwell, who has parkour skills. Fight your way through this hostile world and defeat your enemies to find your little sister Mia.
Less well known than the previous titles, Job Simulator is also included in this selection. As its name suggests, you will perform various jobs under the watchful eye of robots. Combining real missions and comical situations, you're sure to have a good time. However, it's only available on PC and PSVR2.
You'll also have to say goodbye to Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord starting July 15. You'll be able to play as a warrior living on the continent of Calradia, where a civil war is breaking out. You'll have to make a name for yourself, perform feats of arms, lead an army, and choose your side to ensure your prosperity.
The last game affected by these removals is Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. In this title, Hazel Iversen intends to establish her power and enforce the Masquerade, a Vampiric Law. However, betrayals and conspiracies will take place and nothing will go as planned. You will play, in turn, three vampires who will try to untangle the true from the false.
However, while these departures may disappoint some of you, PlayStation has announced the games that will be available in July. And there are some big names on the list.
