The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has received a new MIUI 12 update for global users. The update, called V12.0.2.0.QEJMIXM, is rolling out now as an OTA.

Xiaomi has released a new MIUI 12 update for the Pocophone F1, almost a month after it brought its new OS to the Russian variant of the device. The new update is called V12.0.2.0.QEJMIXM, denoting that Xiaomi has intended it for devices enrolled on the global branch of MIUI. The update is also based on Android 10 rather than the newer Android 11, which is to be expected.

You can check which branch of MIUI your device is running on by heading to About Phone to find the build number. If the build number contains QEJMIXM, then you have a global version of the Pocophone F1. By contrast, the Russian variant has been assigned QEJRUXM.

The update will arrive as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade, although Xiaomi is probably issuing it in batches. Piunikaweb notes that it cannot determine if this is an incremental update, although it is rolling out to the Global Stable branch of MIUI.

Either way, you can download the recovery ROM below should you wish to install it manually. Please keep in mind that the zip file, which is hosted on Xiaomi's servers, is a 1.9 GB download. If you have a limited internet connection, then we would recommend waiting until the smaller OTA file becomes available.
