The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 gets the November 2019 security patch
The Galaxy Tab S6 is Samsung's latest premium slate. The OEM has just demonstrated it is committed to keeping it that way with a new software update containing the latest Android security patch level. This upgrade has also reached Galaxy Note 10- and S10-series phones.
The S6 is the latest and arguably most premium member of the Galaxy Tab line of Android slates from Samsung. It features an up-to-date Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6 to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also now has access to a new software update that raises its security patch level to November 2019.
This patch is not yet present on many devices that are not Google's own Pixel-line phones. However, it is there for a growing pool of Galaxy Tab S6 users. To date, they are located in South Korea and Germany to start off with. The update in question is called T860XXS1ASK2 and can be downloaded by the Wi-Fi-only and LTE-capable versions of this new tablet.
They are not the only high-end Samsung Galaxy devices to be graced with this security patch, however. It has reportedly been included in the latest updates for the Note 10 and S10. It is reportedly present in a greater number of markets by now, the US included.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
